Fees & Payment
Appointments last 45 minutes and fees are discussed in the first few sessions. While we may agree to a fee, I do account for fluctuations in employment, and the fee we agree upon can be revisited should your circumstances change.
For psychotherapy and psychoanalysis, I provide a bill on the last day of the month. Payment is expected by the end of the following month. I accept cash, checks, or credit card payments.
Insurance
I do not participate in any insurance panels. However, services may be covered in part or full by your health insurance plan. To determine your coverage, you can ask your carrier the following questions:
Do I have out-of-network benefits?
What is my deductible for mental or behavioral health services?
How many sessions per year does my insurance plan cover?
What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
While I do not file insurance claims, I do provide the necessary information in order for you to submit insurance claims for out-of-network benefits.
Cancellation
You are responsible for payment of all scheduled sessions. If you need to cancel and would like to reschedule, I will do my best to accommodate your requests. However, I cannot guarantee accommodating all rescheduling requests. If you have questions or concerns, we can discuss scheduling and cancellation policies when we meet.
